			<h1>BILLING AND INSURANCE</h1>
			
			<h2>Credit and Payment Policy</h2>
<p>You are encouraged to pay all or a portion of your estimated balance due on the date of surgery and the remainder of your bill is due in approximately 90 days following your first statement. Please contact your insurance company directly if you experience any delays. You are responsible for guaranteeing payment on your account and being aware of your individual policy restrictions and benefits.</p>
<p>Your insurance company, including Worker's Compensation, auto (no fault) and personal injury, is legally responsible to you.  Our relationship is with you, our patient, not your insurance company.  Consequently, all charges incurred are your responsibility.  The obligation to assure payment in a timely manner lies with you regardless of what your insurance company chooses to do.  You should normally receive a response from your insurance company within 30 days of your date of service.  If you experience a delay, it is expected that you contact your insurance company to check the status of your claim and to expedite payment.  Please call our Business Office at <span class="phone">304-523-1885</span> if you encounter a problem with your insurance company and need our assistance.</p>
<p><strong>Cabell Huntington Surgery Center's policy is to turn over to a collection agency all accounts which are delinquent.  You will be responsible for any collection fees that are incurred.</strong></p>
<h2>Same Day Discount</h2>
<p>We also offer discounts for those that do not have insurance and who do not meet the poverty guidelines.  The same day discount offers 40% off of the patient's facility fee if they are able to pay 60% on the day of service.</p>
<h2>CareCredit® Healthcare Finance</h2>
<p>We offer CareCredit® for those patients who will have an estimated balance after insurance greater than $300; this option is also open to those patients without insurance.  Payment plans range from 1 to 6 months.  Plans greater than 6 months will have to be approved by the surgery center's administrator.</p>

<h2>Charity Discount Program</h2>
